WE MET BY CHANCE AND BY CHOICE WE BECAME FRIENDS

I confess. I love my friends .I'm very open to everyone regarding how close I am to them. These guys really put a trace in my heart in which no one could ever erase... they are PALANG ( kikay pero angayan ) , RG ( mathematician ), ROSEVIL ( comedienne ) AND JUNA ( morally upright ). We became best buddies, the best of friends since our 2nd year at Cebu Normal University and even up to now that we're all married. WE MET BY CHANCE AND BY CHOICE WE BECAME FRIENDS.

We have so many things in common. We enjoyed so many things together at School and out. We find ourselves telling each other the deepest details of our lives...things we don't even share with our families who raised us. Time after time, we even get closer. Even after our graduation and after each of us landed into different work milieu,we definitely remain friends.

I am so pround to have friends like them and by God's glory , our life turned out to be good.

Palang got married to Wesley Chiu whom I've known to be one the kindest men I've ever met. Palang is so lucky and she became a regular employee of Cebu's Electric Company.

Rg, is now teaching at Urot High School and is happily married to a seaman, Bryan Guisadio.

Rosevil, got married to Israel, a broker and their marriage is close to perfection as I can see. They are about to open an ESL school in Cambodia mid this year. Good thing about them is that they're both very active in church and missions. I salute to both of you.

Jhuna is taking things slowly with his boyfriend Tony who is also a licensed nurse. Jhuna is working in one of the Call Centers in Cebu just like me.

To complete the casting ...I got married to Mark Antonio. He means a lot to me. He rocks my world ! I'm just so happy to be with a loving ,competent ,resourceful, gutsy and smart man...able to provide the needs ....happiness to his family. He is one of a kind and is very worth keeping. As a matter of fact , I decided to keep him a very long time ago. lol... luv my mark so much.

I pray each day that God will continue to shower our respective families with so many blessings and grant us good health ! Thank you Lord .

Who is watching the Watchmen?

Another week has just began. So how is the week kicking off for you all? Here I go again , facing my partner pc at work and I need to get 150 confirmed calls at the end of the week. No worries , I'm used to do so for over a year now . But b4 calling those english folks out there , let me tell you that I've spent a wonderful afternoon with my hubby at Ayala Center Cebu to see " WATCHMEN " on big screen. Hope u guys get the chance to watch this movie too.

Cast: Patrick Wilson, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Carla Gugino, Stephen McHattie, Matt Frewer

Synopsis: A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, “Watchmen” is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the “Doomsday Clock” – which charts the USA’s tension with the Soviet Union – is set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion – a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers – Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity…but who is watching the Watchmen?

Wall.E spiced with Dinuguan..what an experience !

I TRUST YOU ALL HAD A GOOD WEEKEND just as I did. I undoubtedly enjoyed my sunday experience back at Lola's place. I spent the whole afternoon with fergus and family. We watched " Wall.E " featuring Eva and Wall.E .

FYI , it was even made more special because " Dinuguan " was served at lunch! Guess who requested this course .... His name starts with an M, a man dear to me who made his career and weight(heheeh...peace.) progressed in just a short period of time. LOVE YOU !

And here's more about DINUGUAN.

Dinuguan (also called dinardaraan in Ilocano, or pork blood stew in English) is a Filipino savory stew of blood and meat simmered in a rich, spicy gravy of pig blood, garlic, chili and vinegar. The term dinuguan comes from the word dugo meaning "blood". It is recognizably thick and dark, hence the Westernized euphemism "chocolate meat." It is similar to the Singapore dish pig's organ soup, differing in that it does not contain vegetables and has a characteristically thick gravy. It is frequently considered an unusual or alarming dish to those in Western culture, though it is rather similar to European-style blood sausage, or British black pudding in a saucy stew form. It is perhaps closer in appearance and preparation to the ancient Spartan dish known as black gruel whose primary ingredients were pork, vinegar and blood. Dinuguan is often served with white rice or a Filipino rice cake called puto.

A similar dish is also known among the Bataks of Indonesia, called sangsang. Sangsang is made from pork or dog meat (or more rarely, water buffalo meat), coconut milk and spices (including kaffir lime and bay leaves, coriander, shallot, garlic, chili pepper and Thai pepper, lemongrass, ginger, galangal, turmeric and andaliman (the fruit of a native shrub similar to Sichuan pepper)).

Sangsang has special significance to the Bataks, as it is an obligatory dish in Batak marriage celebrations.

No wonder, Filipinos love this cuisine. I din't like it when I was young. When I got to see dinuguan before , I regarded it more like human blood than a yummy food. It was Mark who encouraged me to try and I learned to love it now. Terrific ! Gotta try it .

kiss kiss kiss kiss with fergus

Fergus is such a sweet type.He either asks me or his papa for a kiss always. He keeps on inspiring me by calling me "mama" in a sweet, caring, gentle tone.

Don't ever judge him by the way he looks. He might look more like a lesbian in this pic but beware of what he can do.. like a real man does ! He is now 2 years old and 2 months and he speaks na this time. New discoveries about him each day..sounds interesting !

Hayyy... 'm so sleepy and tired here at work and its still 10:36 pm pa. ahhhhhhhh 7 more hours to go b4 logging out and millions of calls more to be done ....exaggggggggg! heehehe 'been baby sitting fergus since Monday and I only had less than 4 hours of sleep each day after work bec his papa changed sched for work man.but everythingssz gonna be olrayt. I'd rather choose being tired with fergus in the house than be relaxed but his away naman- sa Oslob.
